How to Play Speed Baccarat
How to Play Speed Baccarat
Speed Baccarat is the fastest variant of the classic casino card game. Rounds complete in under 30 seconds, making it ideal for players who want more hands per session. This guide walks you through everything from sitting down at the table to collecting your winnings.
Step 1 — Set Your Bet Amount
Before the betting window opens, decide your stake. Most Speed Baccarat tables accept bets ranging from $1 to $5,000 per round. Choose chip denominations by clicking on the chip stack. You can combine multiple denominations in a single bet.
Step 2 — Place Your Bet Within the Window
When the betting timer starts, you have 10 to 12 seconds to drag your chips onto the table. The main betting areas are Player, Banker, and Tie. Side bet zones appear alongside these positions. If you miss the window, you wait for the next round — rounds follow each other with no pause.
Step 3 — Watch the Deal
Once the betting window closes, the live dealer deals two cards face-up to the Player position and two cards face-up to the Banker position. In Speed Baccarat, both hands are revealed simultaneously — there is no theatrical flip or delay. This is the primary reason each round finishes so quickly.
Step 4 — Third Card if Needed
The automatic third-card rules are applied instantly. You do not need to do anything. The software or dealer handles all drawing decisions according to the fixed baccarat tableau.
Step 5 — Results and Payout
The winning hand is highlighted, losing bets are cleared from the table, and winning bets are paid. Player wins pay 1:1. Banker wins pay 0.95:1 after the 5% commission. Ties pay 8:1. The table resets and the next round begins immediately.
Using the Roadmap and Statistics
Most Speed Baccarat tables display a Bead Plate, Big Road, Big Eye Boy, Small Road and Cockroach Road. These are historical scorecards showing the outcome of recent hands. Many experienced players consult these before betting, though past results do not statistically predict future outcomes in a shuffled shoe.
Multiplay Feature
Several providers allow you to play at multiple Speed Baccarat tables simultaneously using a Multiplay button. This lets you place bets on up to 10 tables at once. This feature dramatically increases the number of hands you can play per hour.
